Ossola Valleys

The Ossola Valley includes 7 different valleys characterized by breath-taking alpine sceneries, the ideal settings for hiking, trekking and relaxing days at the mountains.
Not far from Lake Maggiore, it is easily reachable by car or by train.

The "Capital" of the Ossola Valley is Domodossola, with its medieval market square and Sacro Monte Calvario, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Seven valleys with high mountain chains: Vigezzo Valley, also known as the "Painters' Valley," Anzasca Valley located at the bottom of the east side of Monte Rosa, Antigorio, Divedro and Formazza Valleys with the majestic Toce Waterfalls, Antrona Valley with its beautiful alpine lakes and the Bognanco Valley with its thermal springs.

Then there is also the Val Grande, the largest wilderness area in the Alps.
